Yucca Art Gallery
Our Story....
In 1964, in Albuquerque, there were no art galleries where women were accepted as members, so 27 courageous, trailblazing women started their own art gallery. Sixty-two years and 4 locations later, the Yucca Art Gallery supports over 40 members and stands tall and proud as the longest existing art gallery in Albuquerque. Present Day Yucca Art Gallery
Here we are today...
We are a community of New Mexico artists.
The epitome of local, we hail from Albuquerque, Los Lunas, Corrales, Placitas & the Santa Fe areas. We are proud that every item has been hand-made by one of us. Many pieces are one-of-a-kind.
Yucca Gallery has been open continuously since 1964. As a cooperative, we own and operate our gallery to promote one another’s work. We are tucked away in Patio Market at the southeastern end of the Plaza in Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Come in and look around! Chat with the members working on the day of your visit and discover one of Albuquerque's hidden gems.
