Fran Krukar - Watermedia

Painting watercolors can be a challenge. It is also fascinating to see how colors interact on the paper in ways that could never be accomplished with a brush. The result, a painting with layers of depth and color, is well worth the effort.

All of the paintings start as a drawing, anywhere from a few lines to very complex. Then the fun begins as color is applied. Images and shadows soon form.

My formal training was at the University of New Mexico. Since then I've taken many classes and workshops. All have been from dedicated well known artists teaching ways to increase expertise with different techniques and methods.
