UP, UP, AND AWAY!
If you're one of our local friends, we hope you'll join us on the first weekend in October as Yucca Art Gallery celebrates Albuquerque's annual hot air Balloon Fiesta. From 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 5 (less than 2 weeks away!), you'll be able to meet our artists and watch them demonstrate their skills. And need we mention there'll be refreshments?
We'd love to see you there. You can find a map pinpointing our location at:

VIRTUAL GALLERY ONLINE
For those of you who *aren't* local (and even those who are), you'll be happy to know you can now sample our artists' works online, anytime, at our virtual gallery. This new feature on our website includes almost forty works by a number of our artists in a wide variety of media. Start your virtual stroll (from the comfort of your own home!) at:

FEATURED ARTIST
Currently featured on our website is Millie Tjeltweed, a watercolorist whose work is constantly evolving and changing… and, needless to say, getting better all the time! You can find out more about her, plus peruse a sampling of her work at:

NM STATE FAIR INCLUDES WORK OF YUCCA ARTISTS
We're so pleased that some of our artists' works were recently displayed at the NM State Fair.
Carole Elizabeth Erickson (formerly Carol Anderson) won both a blue ribbon and best-of-show rosette in the Bookbinding Category. And Lyla Garcia, Nina Adkins, and Millie Tjeltweed (all watercolorists) had paintings accepted for display in the Fine Arts Exhibition, as did Glenda Jensen (a pastel artist).
You can find a listing of all our artists, along with links to their individual pages, at:
