I reside in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains on the outskirts of Albuquerque. The arid desert and mile-high altitude provide a crystal clear atmosphere and a breath-taking panorama of color. The natural beauty of a landscape kissed with incredible light is a constant source of inspiration--virtually at my back door.
In my work, I strive to let the viewer see through my eyes and most importantly, feel what I felt about the scene before me. This is true whether painting a landscape, still life, or a human form.
