 Barbara Baum
Barbara Baum is a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago and has won many national and local awards. Her media include watercolor, oil, and monotype.
Baum's love for -- and connectedness to -- the land is seen and felt in the freshness and richness of her landscapes, which have a jeweled, sunlit feeling. Her art is a result of a spiritual whole.
Her landscapes are all of places with which she has had direct experience. When not painting, she is usually hiking through the southwestern mountains which are seen in her paintings.
