Joy Eaton

Born and raised in the Midwest, Joy is a graduate of the University of Michigan. A resident of Albuquerque since 1971, she began her pursuit of art in 1976.

Forms in both nature and ancient architecture intrigue Joy. Her passions for gardening and cooking have provided additional inspiration for her paintings and photographs.

She also enjoys hand quilting and regrets that there are not enough hours in a day to do all the things she loves. She has recently been experimenting with the arts of monoprint and collage, using rice paper, leaves, stamps, photos and other found objects.
